Autumn Lane

This afternoon my sisters and I took a drive around our neighborhood for some autumn pictures. Since I am an acclaimed autumn lover, and finding many kindred spirits among you, I decided to post a couple photos of our venture. (thanks to Courtney and Carley) Isn't autumn simply lovely?!

  1. Lovely pictures! Where I live in Ontario we've already had a big snow storm, unusual enough as it is for this time of year! Autumn never lasts long enough for me. :)

  2. Oh, it's gorgeous! I love Fall! But you already know that. :-) Unfortunately we don't have too many Fall colors to speak of on our land; we have lots of trees that only turn brown and drop (too bad!), but we enjoy admiring the beautiful leaves on trees in the mountains or that of our neighbors.

Autumn is the best season ever!

  3. Stephanie, snow! Already? Wow... that is a little sad that you didn't have a long autumn. But of course, like you said, autumn never lasts long enough. :)

Kasie, we have a few tress like that around here too. They don't seem to like color. ;) I agree, autumn is the best season ever!

  5. They look like they're absolutely lovely! I can't quite make out the top two because our internet is rather on the blink. But I'll make sure I check them out when I get home tonight. (Make sure you go vote if you're eligible and able!!) I absolutely love the autumn, but in Oklahoma we have summer, maybe 3 random days of fall, and then winter, and maybe 3 random days of spring. *Sigh* But at least I get to check out your beautiful pictures of autumn.

  6. Yes!! Thank-you for the beautiful pictures. The joy and life of spring have made it my favorite, but this year autumn is certainly vying for first place. I have been so alive to the colors and fragrances of the season this year! They speak to me so clearly and beautifully of God's presence. I'm off to get my cup of Green Tea...:-) Have a wonderful day!

  7. Anna, thank you! :)

Coffeegirl, I feel so sorry for you people without a beautiful autumn to enjoy! It has made me extra thankful for my TN autumn. :) I'm glad you like the pictures.

Rosanne, I am glad you like the pictures! Spring is my second favorite season - and one I look forward to after a long winter - but autumn has remain my beloved season. :) Hope you enjoy your tea. I am having mine right now as well. You have a wonderful day as well. :)

  10. Beautiful! I love Autumn! It's by far my favorite season! I just got back from Waco, Texas and I forgot how much I love the mountains changing! Texas is beautiful too, but so very flat! Anyway, God's eye for color is amazing! =D
